This was probably Danny Green's thoughts during the game |
Last night, May 21, 2014, the great San Antonio Spurs
matched up against the also great Oklahoma City Thunder. This was Game 2 of the
Western Conference Finals. The outcome of the game was San Antonio Spurs
beating the Oklahoma City Thunder with a score of 112 Spurs to 77 Thunder. The
leading scorer on the Oklahoma City Thunder was Jeremy Lamb. Lamb scored 13 points,
threw 1 assist, grabbed 1 rebound, and stole the 2 times. Kevin Durant and
Russell Westbrook also had a good night with a total of 30 points. Kendrick
Perkins was not to hot that night.
Perkins only had 2 points, 4 rebounds and only 1 block. From my view it
looks like the Thunder needs Surge Ibaka on the floor. Now to the Spurs leading
scorer, Danny Green, he had a great night. Green scored 21 points, stole the
ball 3 times, threw 1 assist, and grabbed 3 rebounds. For those who didn’t
watch the game Danny Green really stepped up this game. Green was 7 of 10
behind the 3 point line! So basically Danny Green made 7 3-pointers and missed
3 3-pointers. The Spurs Big three
including Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili had a big part of scoring
last night. All together they had a total of 47 points. Now seeing how the
Spurs have played in these two game I would say,” Change nothing, you guys are
playing great.” The Spurs are an old fashioned team mixed with a little new
school. The Spurs play good basketball
and stick to the simple stuff and get rebounds! On the other hand the Thunder is
a team with new players, who play very aggressive. If you can’t control your
aggression you’ll end up in the same situation as the Thunder are in…
